Dauphin Island Times

An early morning stroll on the beach recently offers up a bouquet of sights to see for the Dauphin Island vacationer.

This small section of sand was just damp enough to capture in perfect relief the footprints of the shore bird who had walked there earlier. Birds are plentiful on Dauphin Island. A favorite vacation activity, and a great way to start the day, is to carry a cup of steaming morning coffee down to the beach to watch the birds fish and forage for their breakfast.
