What:The Dauphin Island Sea Lab's Halloween Spooktacular!
The Adventures of Shark Man and Octoboy! A fundraiser for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation
When: Friday, October 27, 2006 from 5pm to 9pm
Where: The Estuarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab
Admission: Admission to the event is free. Estuarium tours are $3.
The Estuarium and its parking lot will be transformed into a ghoulish gallery of games and ghosts for Spooktacular! This event is a fundraiser for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation. This fun and phantom-filled event is a great and safe way to celebrate Halloween and learn about marine science!
Games for children of all ages will be held outside in the parking lot. Admission to the event is free. Estuarium tours are $3. Tickets to the games are 50 cents and $1 each.
Food and drinks are available.
Inside the Estuarium actors will represent the epic battles of the forces of marine environmental evil versus Shark Man and Octo-Boy!
All proceeds will benefit the Dauphin Island Sea Lab science and education programs. The Sea Lab is the only entity of its kind to offer marine science and education to students from kindergarten through Ph.D.
The Foundation is seeking sponsors and volunteers for this worthwhile event. All sponsors will be recognized at the event and on all publicity before and after the event.
