It is expected in the next few weeks that Federal regulators will tighten restrictions on commercial and recreational fishing for grouper, the current fish de jour in American restaurants. The proposed change to regulations adds Grouper to the list of fish ineligible for catching in November and December. The list already contains Red Snapper.
