The virtual Uffizi gallery of Florence contains over 500 pages of information about paintings exhibited in the real "Uffizi Gallery". Now don't hold me to that number, because I'm told the number of paintings exhibited there is always changing because of the large numbers of art restorations and exhibitions they do. Plus there are always new acquisitions. Let's just say it's a huge resource and leave it at that.
The main thing you will want to remember is it will allow you to prepare yourself in advance for exactly what types of artworks you want to view and to plan your visit accordingly.
